Common Questions

Some questions you may have:

What is a personal blueprint?

Your personal blueprint shows your strengths and challenges that you were born with.  Understanding your blueprint allows you to explore your strengths that you use and those you don’t.  Understanding also allows you to look at your challenges and look at the areas of your life you have struggled with and understand why they were struggles.  Most of all, it allows you to let go of the stories that are holding you back and move to a balanced authentic life.

What does it mean to Re-Discover my blueprint?

I use the term Re-Discover because at some level, we all know who we truly are, we just need help seeing the path we were meant to walk down, the real person walking around in your skin.  I know for me personally, when I learned about this and re-discovered my blueprint, it felt like I was given all these gifts at Christmas and when I opened each one, it felt like I was getting back an old friend.  That was my experience, you will have yours.  We are each unique.

Will knowing my blueprint help me in relationships and with people in general?

ABSOLUTELY!  When you understand who you truly are, you find that your interactions with others has a different feel.  When you are not passing judgement on yourself, you don’t pass as much judgement on others.

Do I have to tell you about personal feelings or issues or “stuff” from my past?

No!  You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable, that is one of the big joys of this process. While the more open you are, the more I can help you find your path, you do not have to share any more then you feel comfortable with.  You don’t have to dig up past pain, you just need to be open to allowing yourself to move through it.  And this is why we can meet anywhere, from the local coffee shop, to your home.

Can you help anyone?

While I would love to say yes, I can’t.  While I am trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I do not act as one in this work.  Your process of discovery, while therapeutic, is not therapy and therefore, when I speak to a potential client, I will ask some general questions.  If I feel during that call or during a consultation that a client would benefit from a deeper level of personal work, I will refer to local therapists whom I trust.

I will not compromise a client or myself as my life’s purpose is to help, never hinder.

So why do clients come to you?

I have clients see me for many reasons, but seem to have reached a crossroad in life and a change has to happen in order to keep moving and they want to pick the right road.  The more common themes I hear are: Deeper self awareness, feeling “stuck” in some aspect of life, challenges in personal relationships or at work, tired of traditional psychotherapy not moving forward or don’t have and/or want to spend the money and/or time it requires, another client has told them they should come to me, and then there are those that are  just very curious to see if this process really works the way I and others say it does.

There are countless reasons why someone contacts me to make an appointment.  It does not matter why you come to me, it only matters that you are ready to see the real you, the amazing you!

People that are reluctant or resistant to traditional therapy enjoy this process because it does not look, feel, or even resemble therapy!

Can I find out the blueprints for my children?

YES!!! And I wish hospitals gave each parent a class on this.  Parents always say, “I wish kids came with instruction manuals!”  The joy is, THEY DO!!!!  When you know your child’s personal blueprint, you can learn the best ways to nurture them.  You can discover, among other things, the discipline that will work for their unique self, how to lift them up and empower them, how to live daily with them, and how to help them feel confident to follow the paths in life that will allow them to live authentically.  No two kids are alike, even identical twins who are born into the same energies, will have unique ways of expressing their blueprints.  Think of two homes that have the same number of rooms, same number of windows, same square footage, the outside appears the same, but the way each is actually put together on the inside, where the rooms are places, the furniture, the paint, it is all unique.  Knowing who your child is on the interior makes the exterior shine! (works the same with you too)
